Who may use Tidal Guides
Guides must be Maldivian professionals, speak fluent English and Dhivehi and have at least one valid certification that we will verify. Operators must be legally registered to run trips in the Maldives.
Our role
Tidal Guides introduces operators and guides and verifies certifications. The working agreement, rate and conduct of a trip are between the operator and the guide.
Fees
Guides pay nothing. Operators pay $125 per successful placement, invoiced once a guide has accepted and the trip is confirmed. No subscription and no contract term.
Conduct and cancellations
Repeated no-shows, misrepresented certifications or unsafe conduct lose platform access. Cancellation terms and refunds of the placement fee are set out in the operator agreement.
